trapeze-act's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- - I was locker buddies with this one girl in junior high. I spent the night at her house a few times, she was a nice girl. Kinda loud sometimes, but she was nice. We were decent friends. I found out yesterday the cops found her dead in her car on the side of the road. A viral infection got to her heart and killed her. She was revived on scene, but died again the next morning at the hospital. She was revived one more time at the hospital, where she is currently in the ICU. She needs a heart transplant to live, and even if she does get one, she has so much brain damage, the doctors really don't know what's going to happen to her. I check her facebook page periodically to see how she's doing and to see if anyone has updated. I assume she's still alive because everyone is still posting "hang on". It's a sad situation. She was supposed to walk the stage at her college graduation yesterday. It makes my stomach turn to think about what she was going through, what was going through her head at the time. If it happened fast, slow, if she knew what was going on, if she felt alone. And a random viral infection no one knew about? Straight to her heart, then boom, dead? It's like an episode of House.
